Will 2017 finally be the year for Danny to find his forever home?
Rescued in 2013 as a puppy borned to a stray dog that we were feeding, he was the only puppy left in his litter as his siblings all unfortunately were killed by motor vehicles. Danny was fortunate not to have died on the spot but suffered a very serious injury to his jaw, making it immobile and impossible for him to eat then. He was slowly starving to death while we were a newly established group then, we weren't sure how we were going to get the money for him to undergo the surgery. Fortunately, we met amazing people and through an amazing dog loving community, Danny went on to have his much needed surgery and has since recovered fully.
The horrors he has seen as a puppy left this boy very much not confident of himself or new people he mets. He is shy and aloof and hides behind his rescuer mummy as she is the only person he has come to love and trust through this years. However, circumstances meant that his rescuer mummy is unable to adopt him, thus we are still holding onto hope that one day, Danny would be able to find a family to love and trust. He definitely has issues with men, brought on by the unkindness he was shown as a puppy (The workers there at the site didn't really treat him too kindly), but we believe love conquers all.
If you have it in your home and space for a big cuddly, gentle, giant teddy bear, please give us a call at 97659951 to speak to his rescuer.
