Brandy is one tough cookie. First discovered as part of a litter of 4 pups in 2009, she is now the only one left on the streets. If not for her accident, this girl will still be roaming the streets as she pleased. Unfortunately, as is the fate of most strays, she found herself in a face-off with a vehicle and came out on the losing end. Read her story here: We got to her in time and Brandy is now looking for a new lease of life in someone's home.

Brandy is an older dog, around 7 years old. She is a very sweet-natured dog with no signs of aggression and is quick to warm up to the humans she recognizes. She does enjoy her freedom though so she will need an experienced handler who will know how to manage this escape-artist wannabe until she gets comfortable in her new home. Her sling has been removed but she has gotten used to getting around on 3 legs that she is not using the leg even though it has healed. She will need to go for regular physiotherapy sessions, and have her leg massaged for 20min twice daily. She is also being treated for heartworm and an ear infection so her new mommy or daddy will need to keep up with her medications as required.
