Description: Marmalade has come a long way from when she first came to the shelter. As she has had to survive on her wits and overcome many threats and risks that people and vehicles posed, she is understandably a little cautious and unsure of herself. However, she now looks forward to walks and enjoys leisurely strolls and taking her time to smell the roses. She is more comfortable being around people, although she still keeps her distance and will take time to warm up to them. She is a sweet girl looking for a patient and kind family who is willing to give her the time she needs to adjust from being a forest dog to becoming a loving family pet.
History: Marmalade was a stray living in a forest behind Upper Thomson Road. She and 2 other adults foraged for food in the wild, fought off monkeys and wild boar, were fed by residents in the nearby housing estates and often risked life and limb darting across the busy main road to the tempting scraps from coffee shops and eateries.
