Rescued as a puppy, Sam is a quiet but lovable big bear.  He put on weight while boarding, so we are working towards getting him trim and healthy. Sam has just started to learn to walk on a leash, and is walking well with his trusted volunteers.  Very soon he'll be able to go to our adoption drives.  For all the big dog lovers, Sammy will be a faithful, happy companion.
